Congrats to the Lady Yotes on 15 consecutive wins. Don't care who you are or what league you're in that's impressive. Congrats to Coach P, the staff, and this wonderfully fun team. Can't wait for the bunnies second game and the SLT. Way to make us alumni proud Lady Yotes!!!!!

Longest winning streak any team in this conference has ever had is 18 games. Only one team has ever swept regular season play (Northern Illinois in 93-94). We'll be playing for both against state with wins against UNO and ORU.
That I can even say these speculative things with 3 games left is incredible. Great season for this team.

copied from my other post in the Summit League forum: As it stands now, USD has clinched a top-2 finish and seed. SDSU has clinched a top-3 finish and seed. 1. USD win/WIU win = USD clinches title outright, and #1 seed2. USD win/SDSU win = USD clinches a share of title, SDSU clinches top-2 seed and has RPI edge in tie. 3. USD loss/WIU win = USD clinches a share of title, and #1 seed (because we beat WIU twice) 4. USD loss/SDSU win = SDSU clinches top-2 seed and has the edge in a tie (they beat ORU twice) If we win on Saturday OR State loses, we get a share of the regular season title.
If State loses, we get the share and the #1 seed.
If both of those things happen, we win outright.Read more: usdcoyotesports.proboards.com/thread/2221/2017-18-season-thread?page=2#ixzz57JXcl3vK

I really like the Coyotes chances of beating Oral Roberts. The Jackrabbits play at Western Illinois at 4:30 Central time tomorrow. Gosh wouldn't it be nice to have the Leathernecks do us a favor and take care of the Jacks. Either way Wednesday has a chance to be a real special night at the SCSC. If the Jacks do beat WIU the Coyotes could win the conference, beat the Jacks and finished undefeated in the league all in one big game. It won't be easy but imagine the energy the Coyotes should have in that game. They have plenty of it without a big crowd.
