I haven't seen anyone report his actual BAC. The only thing I saw reported was that it was .08 or greater. That could mean .08 it could mean .32. If he was drinking Joose I would have to think it was higher than a .08, unless he was just getting started.

This thread just proves that negativity and controversy sell because this is what everyone wants to talk about and it is also an off season sports issue. There should be well more chatter about the Summit Tourney than this topic but people will talk about what they want to talk about. For me, I can't go preaching and being holier than thou because my schools isn't perfect either when it comes to controversies so I can give SDSU a pass on this. What Stig did sucks because driving while in toxicated is not cool in any way. At least now Jacks fans can drop the notion that everything Stig and their athletic program does is somehow above everyone else. College sports is far from perfect in many ways so this is just an example of that. I don't think anything less of SDSU as an institution than I already do but since that thought is so low in the first place this really doesn't make a dent in that.

CF, that is precisely why this is a big story. The holier than thou attitude and Stig's reputation makes this a bombshell. The higher the pedestal the farther the fall from grace.

Story out of Brookings is Taryn Christion tried to call him a cab but he fumbled the phone. I heard that the call simply got intercepted

Stig is on KSWN...Says he didn't drink Joose, said he drank wine but didn't know how much. Said he took a breathalyzer in the vehicle but had no idea what the reading was. Says he told Dunn and Sell the day of, but waited to release the info to follow his lawyers advice. player.listenlive.co/29011

The police report (http://www.documentcloud.org/documents/4391467-DUI-Papers.html#document/p3/a407430) says that he admitted to drinking "Joose" and no breathalyzer was taken. This is getting Joosy...

Excuse me if I don't believe him. You get popped for a DUI you know what you blew. It's one of those things you do not forget. Couple that with the official police report stating that officer could not obtain a PBT, ehh, lots of questions.
Why would the arresting officer make up Joose out of nowhere? Don't believe him there either. I would think the BPD would see him as a high profile figure and be very careful to be accurate in their reports.
We got the spin/damage control answers. To KWSN's credit they are focusing on the bigger story, how does this go undiscovered for a month?

If he was drinking joose like he told officers I can guarantee that he was well over .08. and had it even been close to the legal limit they would have swept it under the rug and not charged him. When the BAC comes out it will be high.

Just a strange choice of beverage to be sipping on if you don't drink, that is unless the cop was lying in the report. He claims he has never even once before driven while intoxicated, that he's never tasted beer and his sentence will be self imposed. Imagine the bad luck in getting popped the very first time you do this. If I'm ever charged and convicted of a crime I sure hope I can decide on my own sentence.

Self imposed punishment that he will not tell anyone the details. What a joke. Shame on the AD, President, and anyone else involved who are sitting on their hands. I disagree coyotefan, they don't get a pass on this. Especially after hiding it and now mishandling it with no punishment. Bunny alums should be embarrassed with the handling of this.

The officer must have misunderstood. Stig said he was drinking "Jesus Juice", aka wine. Now I am wondering if it was Manischewitz.

Not going to lie, Manischewitz was the good stuff wine back in college. Better than Boone's Farm or Mad Dog.
