promoted to "Assistant Head Coach"
I'm not sure what that means, other than maybe they are paying him more now? He has head coaching experience. Maybe he was getting offers to leave?

Associate head coach, which I believe is as high as you can go as an assistant

Congratulations to Jason! Well-deserved. Hopefully, this promotion will keep him with our team for at least a few years. The Associate Head Coach position gives him a little more of the experience that he would need to move to the next level, but we really like him where he is! 🐾🏀
