The University had previously been renamed "Purdue University Fort Wayne" and now the athletic teams will be known as "Purdue Fort Wayne". Big change, I know. I think they missed an opportunity to simplify the brand to just "Fort Wayne" but I'm sure Purdue wouldn't care for that...
