The problem is that all the shooters are wide open. Do people who know more than I do know if this is hot shoot or bad scouting?

Appears Sjerven and MacKeever are both out for the 2nd half? Are injuries contagious?

Kind of ugly but a W non the less. Beatty had one heck of a shooting night but the Coyotes survive. Now on to Peyton Manning's favorite city- OMAHA!

It didn’t help us much that the Eagles suddenly decided to be a good rebounding team. In the fourth we figured out Beatty by not giving her the space to make deep threes. That was a close one!
I felt like we were doing a good job of getting our shooters open looks, but the shots just weren’t dropping.

Better spacing at the end. We just ran every play through Duffy or Arens and we were much more successful than the rest of the game.

The video feed froze up on me in the 4th quarter right when we started the comeback so I missed the best part of the game. Stupid internet. Anyone else have that trouble? Regardless, anytime a team comes from 10 down on the road in the fourth is a great win in my book especially given the insane 8-11 from three land courtesy of Lakota Beatty. From following on the game summary, down the stretch the leaders did what they're supposed to do and made plays.

Coming back from down 10 in the 4th quarter on the road counts as a good win. I wonder if we are seeing the proverbial 'you are going to get the other team's best shot' with running the table last year and receiving votes in the "Big Girls" polls?

I think gopheryote is right. We are going to get the best punch from every team, especially the away games.

Yeah, that one makes me a little nervous, too. Clemens didn’t go away, she’s coaching now... I feel like USD last year, and Denver and ORU this year, have incorporated a lot of elements of what made WIU successful in 2017. Gravina is still a good coach.

Mad Mack didn’t look great on the ankle.
Did Hannah get hurt? Or was it just a poor matchup for her?
