Well it was a slugfest! And a KO by the Lady Yotes!!! Speaking of a knockout I can't believe they didn't review the high elbow shot to Allison! That was the worst of the few they reviewed. Great first half defense along with balanced scoring for the game and it's always good to see younger players play some!

Agreed...I'm wondering if UND was just a bit chippy or simply a bunch of cheapshot artists. Hard to tell from TV or maybe all Scandinavians play like thugs. But 63 fouls...I'm glad this wasn't played under the men's format and fouls were erased at the end of the third quarter. |

The UND gals were definitely laying some lumber and lots of forearms and elbows when posting up.
I understand wanting to go out and win the 4th qtr with strong play, but pressing down 40 is ridiculous. I hope we beat them by 60 March 2nd.

Much more watchable, and coaches like it better, too. Let's test your Scandinavian theory: heavily fouled in the game: 5 fouls - Hannah Sjerven---Norwegian name 5 fouls - Olivia Korngable: -German 5 fouls - Faith Dooley:------Irish 4 fouls - Tayor Frederick----German 4 fouls - Maddie McKeever: Irish/Scottish 4 fouls - Monica Arens:------German/Saxon 4 fouls - Lexi Klabo:----------Norwegian (not common) 4 fouls - Julia Fleecs:--------German 4 fouls - Melissa Leet:-------English All Northern Europe, four german names, two Norwegian, two Irish, one English.... ... what were we talking about, again? Oh yeah. where thugs come from. Well, aside from Korngable (Rochester) and Klabo (Fargo), all of these thugs come from relatively small towns in the upper midwest. I guess that's where basketball thugs come from. |

Speaking of Vikings--they conquered large swaths of Europe, Russia, around the Med, etc so most Europeans have some Viking blood  |

Hannah only had 4 fouls - the box score has been updated. Not that she’s afraid of getting fouls, but she only wants the ones she’s earned. 😂💪😂
