Saturday Double-header, folks.

Massey has us beating the Leathernecks:

70-60

That's a generous margin.  The way things are going on the men's side, I wouldn't be too complacent about any game.  Playing at home will be good.  That's all I got.

Oh Yeah.  And we are finally playing with the "Notorious Nine"... Having TBM even more healed will be a very good thing, and Jech and Nate-Rob will give our guys a breather or two.

Yotes lose. All I saw was the notification on my phone, but it doesn't matter. Horrible loss.

Nine points in the last 11 minutes if I recall correctly. Went absolutely ice cold from the field on some wide open shots. No one to blame but ourselves for this one.

It's amazing how this team can just go completely cold in an instant. They were getting good shots, just couldn't buy a basket. I don't want to look it up, but I believe they were up 50-39, and I believe they held them on a couple of possessions prior to them going on a 16-0 run. That's a lot of possessions without points.

I like this team, they play hard, good defense, low turnovers, a lot to like, it's just painful to watch their poor shooting spells though. I hope they keep up the fight, they can still do some damage in the league, let's hope the best is yet to come in the second half of league play.

I'm not sure I agree that we had good looks that didn't go in. I'd characterize it as putting up quick shots (often a 3)without running any sets. It was if they were mentally tired and just said 'I'm jacking this one up quick'. Was there space to shoot? Yes. Was it in the flow of the offense. Nope.

Let's just be patient and give them time to figure it out and put it together. It's year one of the new regime. We've seen some good things, we've seen some frustrating things. It takes time. It's hardest on the players, no matter what we think as fans.
