This will be conclusion to the first half of the season, and although WIU has not been fantastic this year, they have enough skill and tricks up their sleeve to pull an upset. Dawn knows this, so she won't be caught napping, although they have only had a day to game-plan against them vs WIU with all week. Gravina is a good coach, but I just don't think they have the horses this year.
Massey has us winning:
89-62
I assume the very high score prediction for the Yotes is a reflection of WU's quick pace and poor defense. Kind of like Denver, but with less accurate arc shooting. We will get their best shot, no doubt.
fun fact: AA might have a shiner for the game, (according to Coach P) courtesy of the F-Hawks. Should ad a little intimidation factor.

Rebounding is the stat of the game.
Rebound margin USD: +7.5 (#1 in Summit) WIU: -10.7 (#9 in Summit)
that's an 18.2 rebound disparity. I think because WIU likes to push the pace, some of the "totals" stats get exaggerated (Like Denver), but margins don't. That is just plain old bad. It's like they will be spotting us 18 possessions. I'll take it.

I'd be intimidated by the Arens sisters with or without shiners. The level to which Allison was in Killian from Omaha's head was remarkable.
Every time I watch the Arens sisters play I think that a lot of young women around the region are damn lucky there isn't women's football.

Also, the Leathernecks will be bringing the League's worst shooting efficiency defense (45/36). What ever happened to their vaunted zone? They do still get lots of turnovers, so there's that.
They are also very good at drawing fouls. The are #1 in the League in "opponent's personal fouls"(22/game), so I assume they draw a lot of contact. Some SDSU posters commented that lots of WIU girls are "flop artists". Emily Clemens was always good at that, and she is an asst coach there now....
UND is #2 (21) and USD is #3 (20) in the "drawing fouls" stat.

Maybe Allison could play linebacker for the 'Yotes next fall as a fifth year senior? With some of the picks I remember Bridgett setting, she probably could have been a decent fullback.

I hate to say that I've given this way more thought than I should. They'd be absolutely deadly women's football players ... all three of them.

That last game was perplexing. I assume that if we set some kind of record there someone would have tweeted it?

48-18 at the half. Insane. Good crowd in the SCSC!
I know this is not respecting our conference foes, but I feel like we should just fast forward to the Jacks game to determine seed, Omaha and Fort Wayne should just play to determine the 9th team, and we should just move on to the Tournament.

The Leathernecks need a post presence desperately. Hannah, Frederick and even Peplowski are having their way in the paint.
92-49 final. The bench played the last 5 or 6 minutes
