Time to move on. Thursday night double-header @ 5:30. Second-to-last chance to watch this amazing team at the SCSC. There won't be any WNIT home games this year, so take advantage and show these girls some love. Saturday will likely be Alison Arens's last game there.
Massey has us winning 80-41.
I'm not going to over-analyze this match-up. This should NOT be a competitive game. The starters don't need to be exposed to injury with extended minutes. The girls should be laser-focused after Sunday. Not much else to say. NDSU still has a small chance of not making the SL tournament, but at this point I think they are just playing for pride.

On the Bison boards, they are all talking about how Sarah Jacobsen got kicked off the team this past weekend. There are quite a few rumors going around, but most of them seem to think that she is either waiting for the coach to be fired or transferring to Moorhead.

On the Bison boards, they are all talking about how Sarah Jacobsen got kicked off the team this past weekend. There are quite a few rumors going around, but most of them seem to think that she is either waiting for the coach to be fired or transferring to Moorhead. Apparently the Jacobsen family is somewhat of basketball royalty with multiple generations of standout players at NDSU. This development is a big deal. Also the reason she was red-shirting was never given (supposedly was medical in nature). Some had speculated she was already waiting out this coach. Who knows? The thing that is certain is that that coach has been ineffective. |

I don’t know how many charges Monica has taken on the season, but I’d like to see that stat. She is tough as hell.
“MMA” would be a good nickname, although I don’t know her middle name...

Well it wasn't the Lady Yotes most artistic game overall but a strong 3rd Q on D & O was enough to provide a comfortable win.

I thought the team just looked either lackadaisical or fatigued to start the game. I hope they aren’t worn out right now from all the hype and pressure surrounding the ranking and at large bid talk.

Weak opponent going through a lot of issues and coming off a highly emotional game against a rival at their place can easily add up to a letdown. I don't think anyone expected a highly charged up bunch, but they did what they needed to do. |
