Yesterday at the Lunch with the U David Sayler mentioned a possible post season tournament for the ladies. It would be something similar to what the men played in last year at Creighton. He said if the women win out and get to 20 wins they could have a chance to host a post season game. Win or lose the GWC tournament, it sounds like this tournament is extremely interested in the Yotes. This is big news. I'll keep you posted as I hear more.

That would be huge. I would love nothing more than a home game or two. Honestly the way the ladies have played they deserve to play another game or more.

The P&D's Jeremy Hoeck said on his twitter that according to Sayler, there's a good chance that Coyote women will get a big to the 16-team Women's Basketball Invitational. Last year's champ was Appalachian State. This would be HUGE in my opinion.

That would be tremendous for the team to be able to end their season in such a fassion. A home game would be great but any game would be nice. We are still the new kids on the D1 block so I look at this as a no lose situation if we don't get picked for a post season tourney.

Yeah that really would be huge! It would be nice to see them play again this season. Are the men's and women's tournament games going to be live video on the internet again this year? It was pretty fun counting the 100 people that were at the mens championship game last year. That included both of the womens teams from those schools as well. Pretty sad attendance wise.
