The Argus Leader says Collins probably not available and Henry is expected to be available.

I don't think I'm any more sure about Collins and Henry for Saturday after reading those last three posts, but both must be returning to the field soon at any rate.

We got to Oklahoma yesterday (Thursday) evening about 5 PM and the temperature was 97 degrees. It's going to be a hot one, plan for it if you're coming down. It's also going to be tough on the team, I hope they are hydrating.

High ankle sprain isn’t a quick recovery. Very true. When I said Collins was playing that was given to me by someone in the athletic department but not football staff. So if I misspoke I apologize.

OK - I get the lack of optimism going into the game today. So let me introduce Bob Green from Montana Tech, as his very last clip may prove to be helpful today, if things get as bad as many think...

I can't believe I just watched OU fumble a ball for a touchback, with the stadium giving a replay of the definitive evidence, and they just gave OU the ball where he fumbled instead. Can anyone else tell this game is not taken seriously?

Just a couple of notes from an Oklahoma perspective concerning the game.
1) Austin Simmons showed he has some arm talent. Looked to me like he could play at FBS level.
2) Kody Case is no doubt good enough to be an FBS receiver.
3) Greenfield dominated OU's left tackle. OU had a whole bunch of offensive holding penalties against USD.
USD got a few plays here and there against the OU defense but couldn't maintain consistency. However, after OU started subbing on defense in the second half the Coyotes moved the ball pretty well.
Thought USD's interior defense did pretty well until they got worn down.
Hopefully the Yotes can get it going next week and then have a good run in the Valley conference. I look forward to following the Yotes the rest of the year. Hope for a big win next weekend.

Sooner Fan here. We hope the fans from South Dakota had a good time in Norman. I'm sure the outcome was not fun, but we hope that you were treated well by our fans and townies. We enjoy showing people our beautiful campus and always try to treat visitors with respect (well except for OSU and Texas of course) :-). I always feel these games are so unfair to the teams who come to play our Sooners, it is an uneven playing field for sure. I graduated from Illinois State, a school much like South Dakota, I can't imagine us playing a team like OU. We have been in Norman almost 20 years now, we love it, we especially love game days, so much energy!
Once again, thank you for coming to Norman we hope the rest of your season is a success!
PS We loved your band too!!!!

I have been to a couple of BCS level games at Nebraska and one at Ohio State, but this was my first trip watching the Yotes play at a BCS opponent and it won't be my last. With the obvious exception of the score not being a little closer, I had a great time. The Yotes did some good things on both defense and more so on offense, but like a couple of the OU posters pointed out they really struggled with consistency. All in all I thought they played much better than the Montana game and I came away feeling a lot better about the direction the Yotes are headed in than I did after the game against the Grizzlies.
The hospitality from the Sooner fans and game day personnel was top notch. Tailgating, the festivities at Campus Corner, walking around the stadium and seeing all the statues of past Sooner Heisman winners, the pregame and halftime pageantry were all highlights in addition to the game. There was a good representation of Coyotes faithful at the game, including the Sound of USD. If anyone is considering going to future road BCS games I strongly encourage you to do so.
