You guys wanted Bob, you loved Bob. Now you turn on him? Why was he a great coach 4 years ago, what do you think changed?

He came to town with an outstanding staff, then many found their way to better jobs and their replacements have not been nearly as successful. I don't know why he hasn't been able to find replacements at the same performance level but it falls on Bob in the end. |

Hell, just look at what Bob and that staff did at WIU and where they are now. That was a great group of assistants.

Any idea why Coach Moose and Coach Bradley left? I loved those guys at WIU.

Any idea why Coach Moose and Coach Bradley left? I loved those guys at WIU. Moose was dismissed after 2018. He took over as defensive coordinator last year after Yelk left. Bradley also left after last season and is now defensive coordinator at a D2 school. Seems like Yelk was the most important piece on defense. He is at Temple now coaching linebackers. Changes were needed on defense after last season but they obviously haven't worked out. |

Any idea why Coach Moose and Coach Bradley left? I loved those guys at WIU. Those two were both great coaches and I hated seeing them go. Conflict with schemes about defense is the reason they were let go is what I heard. O'Boyle was a huge loss from the coaching staff too as was Matt Middleton. Both brought a lot of energy to the field. I have the sinking feeling that Neilson likes to surround himself with yes men and doesn't like strong personalities on his staff. |

Last year Bob was talking about wanting to be multiple but you never saw it. I don’t think Moose was in favor as eluded to above.
