Figured I'd get a thread started.
I have very little expectations for the rest of the season but WIU is pretty bad and this is a game we should win. Of course, nothing would shock me at this point. We turn the ball over 5-6 times and our defense plays like soft baby poop then we won't win this game, or any other game the rest of the season.

Lol, oh ye of little faith. The majority of these young men are hearty mid-western men. They will step up and play well giving us all hope for the last three. Supposed to be a high of 39 degrees in Macomb Saturday so the defense with be like Lake Mille Lacs in Northern Minnesota in February, the heat will come from the offense as they tear through Western like a hot knife through butter.

I hope we show up to prove that we are better than our last 2 performances. We will see if we have some leaders in this group on Saturday. If we come out with a purpose and execute and impose our will, I will feel better about the rest of the season. If we show up like there is nothing left to play for, it will be a long 4 weeks.
I predict the former and a resounding Yotes win 42-17.

If the team is well prepared, plays clean and with heart (three things lacking last week), they will be fine. Otherwise, it is anyone's guess.
I'm as frustrated as anyone watching them the past couple weeks, but I will still support them 100%. It is easy to be a fan and support your team when they are winning. Fans that support the team when they are facing adversity are the true fans.

To me, after watching them last week, it's the defensive line that will make a difference in this - and realistically every game we play. Play like last time out and we'll likely lose. Stop the run and pressure the quarterback much of the time and we win.
I honestly don't know if we have the personnel to do this, but I'm hoping and hope is all I have at this point. Play like a PACK of hungry howling COYOTES!

Obviously excitement isn't at an all time high here but it's still very important to win as many games as we can. Recruits are going to take notice if we drop one to a winless WIU team.

Well, I guess that is one way to lower turnovers - hope the other team's DL drops the easy pick 6.

We are embarrassingly bad in short yardage. It’s almost unbelievable at this point. We have a 230 lb running back on our bench that we don’t trust for 2 yards Against a 6 man box. You can only slam your head against a brick wall so many times.

Is there anyone else in the league that has to use a student broadcast? It's just not up to standard for this level in my opinion.

Are we seriously going to lose to a winless team? What the hell happened to us anyway?!

Man this defense is bad and this team is softer than jello. Being down at this point in the game is beyond bad. 3 unanswered scores...to a pretty bad team.

Can we add money to the Dome renovation project to buy out Bob's contract?

I would be in favor of doing away with the SD AARP sponsorship first so I don't have to hear that life is better after 50 any more. Same goes for the red zone schtick too. Good Lord.
