I decided to create a separate thread, because I had to search to find the Assist/turnover stats I made, and wanted to compare to current.
Turns out it was in the Missouri game thread...

So here is a comparison of assist-turnover in our first four games vs current totals (first 10 games) This is only players with significant minutes, so Kunzer is now added to the previous list. player | AST | TO | A/TO | previous | diff | minutes | C. Duffy | 52 | 29 | 1.79 | 1.85 | -0.06 | 34.3 | J. Ugofsky | 5 | 3 | 1.67 | 1.00 | +0.67 | 9.0 | L. Korngable | 11 | 7 | 1.57 | 2.00 | -0.43 | 15.4 | M. Arens | 19 | 13 | 1.46 | 2.00 | -0.54 | 29.0 | F. Taylor | 15 | 11 | 1.36 | 2.00 | -0.64 | 17.0 | C. Kunzer | 5 | 4 | 1.25 | ---- | ---- | 7.9 | C. Lamb | 27 | 22 | 1.23 | 0.64 | +0.59 | 31.8 | M. McKeever | 16 | 19 | 0.84 | 0.60 | +0.24 | 30.6 | H. Sjerven | 11 | 14 | 0.79 | 0.20 | +0.59 | 20.3 |
So here are my takes: if you consider 1.0 to 1.5 a nice "target range" for Assist/TO, we have two women with slightly below-average A/TO, four with good and three with excellent. The fact that our best player has a 1.79 A/TO ratio is really good. The three with poor A/TO ratings in the first four games have improved significantly! Lamb now has a good rating, and the is 2nd on the team in total assists. Korngable looks really good as our 2nd team point guard in this stat. Arens and Taylor are fine, and just had artificially high A/TO rates due to small sample size. That might end up being true with Ugofsky, too. Overall just a great improvement.

Sniper's Club: *Players that have taken at least 10 3PT attempts, and shoot .400 and above player | GP | 3PM | 3PA | 3P% | C. Duffy | 10 | 22 | 43 | .512 | C. Lamb | 10 | 20 | 42 | .476 | L. Korngable | 10 | 11 | 25 | .440 | M. McKeever | 10 | 14 | 34 | .412 | C. Kunzer | 10 | 4 | 10 | .400 | M. Arens | 10 | 15 | 43 | .349
|
Bottom line: we have some lethal guards. I think Lamb is a better SG than PG. Maybe Korngable will be the primary PG next year, although that is less important in Dawn's motion offense. Everyone has to handle the ball a lot. Macy G. and Taylor F. will probably make the list next time, they just haven't shot enough yet to have a good sample size. Macy is 3-8 so far.

Charity Striper's Club: (yes striper, not stripper) *must have taken at least 10 Free-throw attempts, and shoot .750 and above. player | FTM | FTA | FT% | M. Arens | 23 | 25 | .920 | M. McKeever | 14 | 16 | .875 | C. Duffy | 34 | 44 | .773 | C. Lamb | 9 | 12 | .750 | F. Taylor | 20 | 28 | .714 | H. Sjerven | 27 | 41 | .659 |
That Arens family tradition of "charity work" seems to live on in our dear Monica. I think we might re-think who the "closer" should be in the next close game. Assuming she hasn't fouled out by then, of course... These are all good numbers, of course. Just like the Sniper's club, Guebert might be knocking on the door, soon. She is 6-of-6 from the stripe right now...

The Block Party: * must have recorded 5 blocks to be invited. player | GP | Blocks | Blk/G | H. Sjerven | 10 | 20 | 2.0 | M. Arens | 10 | 7 | 0.7 |
Not a very lively party. Pretty exclusive. And intimidating. Would like to see Taylor (2) and Jeniah (2) get the invitation... I wonder what kind of music plays at this party?

Klepto Club: * must have 10 steals and maintain at least 1 steal per game player | GP | Steals | STL/G | M. McKeever | 10 | 15 | 1.5 | M. Arens | 10 | 12 | 1.2 |
I'm not sure I trust these two. The Klepto club is a dangerous place. Chloe and Hannah (8) are working on a Thieves' apprenticeship, and may be members soon...

This is very interesting! Thank you for taking the time to do this. How often do you plan to update?

This is very interesting! Thank you for taking the time to do this. How often do you plan to update? no idea. I'm often inconsistent. I'll try to keep it up, but anyone is free to do it as well! Or add your own stuff. I'm easy.
