Denver is probably my least favorite place for us to visit. It's such a wild card because they've apparently got a large home court advantage. I say this for both the men's and women's teams, playing in Denver is never easy.
Last year was a 104-99 loss with Denver shooting 62.5% from the field. I hope to see that number cut in half today.

92-60 win today. Didn't watch the game (get with the times Denver) but it looks like the final is misleading. Denver led 16-14 after the 1st quarter and was only down 13 going into the 4th before losing by 32.

Lady Yotes did take care of business with a 92-60 win! Four Coyote starters were in double figures with Duffy chipping in 31 (Monica had 5). Yotes D held Denver to no FGs the last 6:27 and 9 points in the 4th! Yotes 57% FG and 45 from 3. Held Denver to 34% but 47 from 3 so always something to work on. Yotes 9 of 10 on FTs.

I’m sure Duffy has had other games that I’ve watched where she’s clearly been the best player on the floor, but this one felt even different than that. Seemed like every time she touched it she would either score or get an assist. She’s gone to a different level that reminds me of watching Seekamp. And to think I was getting nervous in the first quarter that it was going to be a repeat of last year.

Just blew their doors off in the fourth quarter which seems to be the norm for this team if they're in any situation even remotely considered to be competitive. Good trait to have and I sure hope it's one that they carry with them the rest of the season.

The tournament committee is just going to see 92-60 and won't really care how it got there. I will take it any day and every day. Compared to last year it was a night and day difference. The Coyotes were a damn good team last year and lost. I am more than happy.
