I just found out today that former running back James Hambrick past away. He was a HOF inductee in 2003 and was a major part of the Coyotes running attack during the mid 80s. In fact the Yotes still hold the record (I believe anyway) for most runners over 100 yards in one game and Hambrick was part of that group.

I remember James and he was a tough runner. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
The Coyotes were 11-3 in 1986 and beat St Cloud State that Nov 52-0 in the Dome. Five Coyotes rushed for over 100 yds each (581 total) which is an all time NCAA record for number of RBs over 100 in a game!! The Yotes were runner-up to NDSU in the DII National Championship game that year. James was all-conference that year.
