We would be 3 days after our opener preparing to go to Flaggstaff.
What do you the score would’ve been in Ames? What do you think it would’ve been against Northern Arizona?
I’m soooooooooo bored not talking sports.

Who would have been starting QB? I don't know that there was ever a clear opinion here.

Who would have been starting QB? I don't know that there was ever a clear opinion here. I think that would have been the main question on everyone's mind going into the game. Would have been interesting to find out, but anything here most likely would have been pure speculation. This fall is just going to suck. I wish we could get even one game in even if it was just treated like a scrimmage where everyone was rolled in and out to get some game experience. I haven't really bought into this spring football idea. Not really convinced it's even going to happen or, if it does, how it will go over.

Yeah this fall is going to suck. About the only silver lining is the weddings won't impact my football watching.
It however remains to be seen what a pandemic wedding looks like. I'm sure someone here can chime in on that.

Extremely disappointing not having a football season, here is an interesting chart regarding covid 19 and college students.

This topic is too depressing to discuss. I've been ignoring it by watching golf and hockey but with college football games starting up last weekend it's really hitting home.
Fortunately, the games last weekend were unwatchable given the lopsided scores and the non-stop political stuff ESPN and it's announcers can't seem to stop talking about. Distinct difference between the coverage of the Army game on CBS Sports and ESPN's coverage during their games. I just want to watch football, not sit for a 3 hour lecture. Muting the TV helps, as does turning the station. Making it really easy to just forget this season.

QB will be even more interesting now that the season whenever played doesn’t count for a year of eligibility. Does it make it more likely they go with Ekern or Camp in the spring? I wonder if that’s the best move to prepare for fall 2021.

I had to mute CBS. It was stupid they kept going on during game with very little fb talk.

With neither FCS nor the Big Ten playing, I have almost zero interest in watching the other college FB games. Haven't watched a single snap yet. In fact, I'm thinking my college FB fix will be to watch Streveler play for the Cardinals.

I'm certain any football played this year is doomed from the start. Delaying to the spring was the right idea. I still don't know if that will work, but I'm prepared for the NFL and what little CFB is being played to be done in October.

I didn't watch this game but the others I tried to watch were reminding me every second of the situation we are all living in. Basically any time I'm exposed to anyone or anything telling me these are challenging times I have to leave. My biggest gripe is the advertising. Thanks Volkswagen, I didn't realize we are in this together. Guess I'll make a horrible financial decision now that I know we both are miserable.

These are challenging times! Everyone in this nation has a responsibility to ensure fairness to all and to ensure everyone (people in high places, rioters, officers, vigilantes) have to take accountability for their actions. Once EVERYONE in this nation feels they are treated fairly is when the healing can begin. If we want things to continue down this same path well go ahead and keep things the same and basically do nothing or vote for more anarchy and authoritarianism. If we want things to change and want to restore a sense of normalcy and get back to a more stable democracy we all have our voice in November. Chaos or normalcy. It's up to all of us.

That’s your perspective on things. Not everyone agrees. No political statements on a sports board unless you want to put it in off topic.

This year has been totally challenging in so many ways. Covid 19 plus a presidential election. Then the rioting looting and burning of buildings. Movements. If you want to get into that then off topic is the category. My hope is we don’t do a deep dive into it and create hard feelings towards one another.
I’m closing this thread I started because it never took hold anyway. Let’s keep talking Coyote sports
