Defensive dial turned up a notch. Hansen knocks down a couple and the Big 3 keep doing their thing (Sjerven has been incredible) and it’s double figures all of a sudden.

Coach P is not happy with the defense. Credit to Bradley - they are making plays, creating space, and shooting lights out. time for a zone? I'm a huge fan of throwing a zone at teams now and then to see if they stall out a bit on offense.

Lamb just hit a 3 to go up 14. But that isn't the impressive part - she has been dialed in and working her rear end off on #11 on defense this half (which set up all these late shot clock desperation shots that are going in). And THEN comes down and drains the three. That's impressive.

I can't imagine this team will lose too many games where Sjerven has a 30/20 and Korngable and Lamb make 10 3's. Hell of an effort.

It's not like they were just leaving her open. The inside-out passing was really good, getting to Sjerven in traffic. It was some of the perimeter passing where we got picked off a few times.

.... This time I'll predict that we finally shoot well as a team for four quarters. Combine that with a consistent defense, and I think we see a more complete game. USD 83Bradley 65 (we will lead by more than that in the 3rd Q, but play more backups in the 4th) Also, I think Sjerven avoids early foul trouble, and Krull plays her best game in a Yote uniform. (predictions are fun) Final 84-68 I was right about the shooting and Sjerven, and the score. Wrong about defense and Krull. 3 outa 5 'aint bad.

I want to know where that individual stat line of Sjerven's (against a very good opponent) ranks in Coyote history. That's just an incredible performance.

Koupal had 35 and 26 against NDSU once. That might be the extent of the list.

Koupal had 35 and 26 against NDSU once. That might be the extent of the list. Not sure about the combined points/rebounds, but there is a mention in the media guide of all the Yotes that have had 30+ point performances: 20 Mandy Koupal 5 Shelby Petersen 3 Jodi Beavers 3 Amber Hegge 2 Amy Heller 2 Ann Pancoast 1 (16 others) 51 total I think you are right about Koupal. I cross-referenced both scoring and rebounding lists, and Koupal is the only one with mentions on both lists for the same performance. She is mentioned twice: 2/22/04 -vs NDSU ---35 pts/ 26 reb Koupal 12/17/20 vs Bradley -31 pts/ 21 reb Sjerven 2/20/04 -vs NDSU ---33 pts/ 18 reb Koupal

I wonder if Sjerven will have a shot at Summit player of the week?

I wonder if Sjerven will have a shot at Summit player of the week? Ironic with Liv having a career scoring night, too.

Not taking anything away from Sjerven's amazing performance. I just think it's ironic that this team is so good that a career night from one player is overshadowed by a career night by another player. Stuff like that happens all the time with this team. It's insane.
