Of note: Aspen Williston saw her first action as a Coyote, thus confirming she won't be redshirting this year. It'll be interesting to see how coach weaves her into the rotation. Her second action could come vs her former OK team.

As mentioned by others--In the first half the Yote D was not up to par and credit some of that to Bradley. I think the need for better D was "mentioned" at halftime. And the Lady Yote D responded dramatically in the 2nd half. The increased intensity and effort was immediately obvious. Hansen was a good sub providing more height and she hit three 3s. As others also said HUGE night by Hannah and she was greatly complimented by Liv and Chloe!!

Minnesota is always over rated. I think they should be kicked out of the big 10.

That is what made it seem so unfair to the transfers who were sitting out. Also, Coach P said this about Aspen:

What a minute, is this right? I didn't hear this. This season doesn't count against anyone's eligibility? So are you saying we could have Hannah and Stanley for another year?

If we beat the Sooners on Sunday, I have to imagine we move up in votes from the Coaches Poll, where we currently are #34 and getting 6 votes. I don't think we get ranked yet, but we will be in a good position to continue moving up. The Jacks might get ranked again next week, at least in the Coaches Poll. The defense wasn't perfect yesterday, but I think that offensive performance proves what this team is capable of. The ceiling is high. We just need more consistency from the players not named Chloe Hannah and Liv. I think that will come with time. This staff has proven that they can develop players, and Dawn's motion offense takes time to learn properly, as we have seen in the past. It will be fun to see these new players improve with each game.
