Here it is. Conference play is starting. 2-day series are the format this seaon. Denver visits the SCSC Saturday (1/2) at 1PM and Sunday (1/3) at 1PM. Massey has us winning both games 82-63. I don't have a good feel for where Denver is at, so I won't make a score prediction. I just know from looking at stats that they are still a team that wants to shoot a ton of 3-pointers. A team like that can be dangerous if they happen to hit a lot of shots on a particular night. ARTICLE PREVIEW LINK

Yes it was--powered by excellent perimeter D, smooth operating O and dominating rebounding! Sixteen turnovers were too high compared to 11 season average. Great effort by everyone who played! Starters didn't play at all in the 4th so good experience for the backups. Interesting considering Denver beat Colorado earlier this season and that this was their first game outside of CO having played CSU and Air Force also.
Just need to take care of business again tomorrow.

Don't be fooled by the final score. The Coyotes were up by over 30 in the second half. Denver kept the starters in and the Coyotes went to their reserves. The Coyotes played well considering they had to try to win back to back games against the same team. That is hard to do. This was an impressive performance all things considered. Hannah Sjerven is sick. She absolutely cannot be stopped when she gets the ball down low. The Coyotes are lucky to have her and she is the most irreplaceable player in the Summit League. She does need to work on avoiding taking so many unnecessary fouls. It may cost the Yotes in a big spot at some point.
The Coyotes go to Kansas City where they shouldn't have much of a problem sweeping the Roos.
