My understanding is the Johnathan Lewis will be available to play this season. I believe he will graduate from Rutgers this month and will then enroll at USD as a grad transfer.

I wonder if they ever consider switching those big bodied o line recruits to the other side of the ball? Seems we always recruit a lot of offensive linemen, but few for the defense.

Kyson is from northwest Iowa and played at Hull Western Christian. He’s 6’7” and weighs 225. Give Clete one year with him in the weight room and add 40-50 lbs of muscle and you have one big ol defensive end. I think there’s a lot of upside. Welcome Kyson

I think that’s a good assumption… they have 17 OL on roster now so getting 6 or 7 more in a single class tells me they are recruiting these kids with on option for either side of the ball. Talented big guys are hard to find. Take them if you can get them.
