An attitude improvement above all else. I want to see some fire that makes me believe this team is tough enough to bounce back from that nightmare we watched last week.
As for Xs and Os - same thing I've been saying for 3 weeks. Figure out a way to run the ball effectively. If we're sticking with those zone reads, Camp needs to keep it a few times at least. On defense, for the love of God, dial up some pressure. It's so obvious we can't get to the QB rushing 3 or 4 and that puts our secondary in a losing situation. Special teams - just clean it up.

A win...period, exclamation point. Youngstown is in a transition period and we have more talent so there is simply no excuse. This is a must win game.

I also think we have more talent. We laid an egg there back in 18. Big egg. Time to correct issues and move on. A win of any sort would be good. A resounding win could ignite the fuse. Any road win in the Valley is a good win. I don't care about style points or winning ugly, just win, period. This is one we have to have and a W here will tell me this team has some guts. It's not so much the opponent as the Guins are rebuilding, so I think we have more talent, it's simply that Youngstown is a tough road trip.

I would have thought the Coyotes would come out fired up for the home opener in a remodeled dome. Nope same old crap. Coaches have no fire and it shows on the team. Another year in the cellar.

Anybody out there still feeling good about this team? So far this season, I've been operating under the impression that our team just is not a talented group. There are a few standout guys, but up and down the roster, this is a below average team. After watching that first half, I now believe this is not only a bad team but it's time for the staff to be held accountable. The last straw for me was the final drive of the first half. It's one thing to take some shots and come up short, but to mismanage the clock that badly is totally unacceptable.
All I've heard all week is how YSU is in a rebuilding year. They are rebuilding and still better than we are. This has gone beyond the typical "just need to play with more fire" nonsense that gets posted here. This is a bad team. Period.
On another note - this board disappeared from my Tapatalk app and I can't find it again. Anybody else having issues with the app?

Our best play is roughing the passer. Gained 30 yards on that in the first half.

Even the monotone color guy is saying our offensive line is doing a poor job of protecting Camp.

This offense just flat out sucks and it starts with the offensive line. Terrible. But worse than terrible, soft. Soft as warm puppy crap.
I can't blame the defense thus far this season. The offense leaves them hanging out to dry all freaking day.
Bob needs to turn over the staff and make some changes. If he doesn't then Herbster needs to make a decision on this program's future.
Do we have defensive lineman? Two straight short yardage plays and there's 11 linebackers out there.
