This is dumb. Just pull the plug and get the kids into the weight room for the off season program. The best thing for this program right now is to try and catch up to the rest of the conference physically. I thought we were there in the past couple seasons for the most part, but this spring we have been out-classed in terms of physicality, athleticism, and strength in just about every game we've played. It was fun when we were playing football, but this "season" has turned into a complete joke. On another note, by the time we play state again it will have been like 1,000 days since the last time we lost to them. That's kind of neat I guess lol. |

I wouldn't mind seeing the Western Illinois game happen just so that the kids can get out there one more time and hopefully end this spring on a high note.

Might as well shut down the season at this point as much as that stinks to say. This whole spring season has been a trainwreck since the league rescheduled all the games before it even started.

Very unfortunate situation this spring, but highly predictable if the % were that a game or two would be canceled with 1 or 2 positive tests on a team of 100+. It’s not the kids with COVID, it’s the guys caught in his sphere that affect the team playing.
On another note, the only extremely disappointing game this spring was the Youngstown State game. UND is absolutely one of the best teams in the MVC right now and Missouri State has proven that they are for real with a cluster of real nice wins in a row, amazing how the transfer portal can change your team in a heartbeat. But, to sit and say that USD is not able to compete and isn’t athletic enough is ludicrous. Not physical (OL) or big enough (DL) or strong enough up front, yes, you are absolutely correct!! The skill kids (RB, DB, WR) are definitely there to compete well and maybe need to add an elite safety and corner as well as a stud outside WR that’s a matchup issue. There are terrific pieces to the puzzle on the roster, but a lot of work is needed to match up physically in the trenches. Shore that up and everyone else will look a whole lot better!

The person that wrote that must have a very short memory like how cowardly the Coyotes were in Men's Basketball not to play against NDSU to ensure they won the Summit. Oh wait they played and it resulted in SDSU winning the league. The Rabbit women won the Summit because they didn't have to play in the SCSC. It would have been a different result had the venues been switched. The worst the Coyotes would have done would have been to tie for the league but potentially win it outright. What a disgraceful and cherry picking writer.
