Now that the dark shadow of COVID has receded, I’m thinking ahead to a more normalized Fall sports season. Obviously the best place to watch Coyote sports is in Vermilion….. but when we can’t do that, is there a designated watch site in Sioux Falls?
How about Minneapolis?
Or Omaha?
I think that sometimes alumni groups organize watch sites for larger schools like Nebraska or Minnesota. Maybe there already is one, and I don’t know about it….

I know there used to be a group that would meet at the old Beef O-Brady's in SF. That place has been closed for a few years though.

I think it's now a place called 22TEN. The old Beef O'Brady's up by the Pentagon is now the Blue Rock Bar & Grill. There have been some Coyote events there due to proximity to the Pentagon, of course. Like when the Volleyball team played there. The place closest to me on the West side is Shenanigan's, but that place has turned into a straight-up Jacks watch site. No thanks. Plus their food isn't great. The Attic (west side), T.C.'s Referee and the Sand Bar are all good spots IMO. At least for me on the west side of town. Tinner's is pretty sweet on the South side of town. Or Kraven. Or Mike Miller's new place at the old Bracco's.

I've pretty much started hanging out at Chasers on 12th and Tea Ellis. Never too crowded and the beer is cheap. Would be a pretty fun place to have a watch party.

If Minneapolis has anything it would be news to me. Midco isn't in the cities, so I'm not sure how easy this one is. I understand streaming is a thing but I imagine it is easier to convince a bar to host you when you can tell them "channel 642" or whatever. That or bring 50 people and make them stream it. No idea what the alumni/fan interest around here is. I have seen a place that hosts NDSU parties though.

Guessing there are a good number of alumni there. I'll bet if you named a location on here before a game you might get some folks to show up. Who knows. When the Yotes play in St Paul, the folks that show up in red might be a good seed group for getting a group formed. Maybe one of them knows a sports bar owner. Whoever has organized the Coyote socials before the SLT, and before the games and matches at the Pentagon might do the same in St. Paul. Just a thought.
