Just starting the thread early.
These matches will be an opportunity for getting some dubs and re-connecting with fans! None of these three opponents are bad, but the Yotes should be favored in all three matches.
Thursday vs Bradley @6 PM Friday vs Central Arkansas @ 12 PM Friday vs Milwaukee @ 7:30 PM
All matches will have a free live stream, but hopefully there will be some more butts in seats than in past years. I have heard that the team has sold more season tickets than ever before this year.

Season ticket sales have increased but still room for improvement. It’s an exciting sport and I guaranty if you like action you’ll love volleyball. Most people don’t have a clue only because they’ve never seen a match.
Our coach is 1st class. Our players are top notch. I’m not sure why the slow start out of the gate but I have zero doubt they’ll ramp it up. Zero. Do yourselves a favor and go watch them play. Season ticket prices are a bargain.

Today is day 1 of the rest of an AWESOME year of volleyball. I’ll be there. Anyone else? Hoping to be. It'll be a game-time decision. Driving from SF makes it a long night, especially with a not-quite-2 year old that goes to bed around 7 every night. If not, I think there is a stream available.

I’ll watch the stream tonight, driven partially by the fact that a friend’s daughter plays for Bradley. But still rooting for the U.

From the article (LINK):THE COYOTES
... Elizabeth Juhnke ... is the early season Summit League leader in kills per set at 3.73. Sami Slaughter adds 2.36 kills per set to an offense directed by Madison Jurgens' 8.55 assists/set. Defensively, Lolo Weideman averages 4.36 and Juhnke 3.45 digs/set. BRADLEY
Bradley ... Hannah Thompson, a 5-8 senior, is the leader for the Braves at 3.37 kills per set and 4.26 digs per set. Thompson became the school's all-time career digs leader in the season opener. Karagan Coggin (2.74 k/set) and Abby Johnson (2.00 k/set) help an offense lead by setters Kora Kauling (8.60 a/set) and Carlee Camlin (4.33 a/set). Libero Serena Sparks averages 4.95 digs/set. Head coach Carol Price-Torok is in her sixth season at Bradley. Impressive stats for an undersized outside hitter! she is likely a "six rotation" player like our Elizabeth Juhnke. Should be a fun match.

Some quotes from Coach Williamson from Tuesday's Yotecast:
"...The atmosphere in the SCSC is amazing. I know our players have talked about it. Recruits have talked about it. I actually just talked to a player today who talked about the environment here and how she is so excited to play in front of that. That's what makes it special for us..."
"...We're very excited to be back home. We're very excited to play in front of our fans. We didn't have this in the Spring..."

The SCSC can be an amazing environment with the fans and what the game day staff can bring to the table. We need the fans to really bring the energy and the PA Announcer to really add some excitement to the match. I believe the key to the match tonight will be aggressive serving, blocking and back row defense. It the Yotes can win those battles we win this match!!! Go Yotes!!! I will see you at the match tonight and both matches on Friday!!!

Coyotes start the home stand with a sweep win over Bradley! Some back-and-forth early in sets 1 and 2, and late in 3, but came out on top in each one.
Adams and our middles turned in great performances.
We are 7-0 all-time in the SD classic!

A little under 800 attendees on a Thursday night was pretty good, and the second best attendance for a “SD Classic Tournament” match. The best was in 2019 on a Saturday night vs Iowa (1637). Let’s go for the record today!
The crowd was a factor in the final points of the match, I thought.
