We need to sell out the pentagon when the Coyotes play #1 South Carolina on November 12th. How many times will any school in South Dakota have an opportunity to play #1 on their home court ? No excuses Whatever shot we have at them exists if The Gamecocks play in a hostile environment. What a great opportunity for Coyote fans to see what elite basketball is. Every high school coach within 60 miles should bring their teams to witness this game.
And lastly what a marketing opportunity for the staff at USD to promote the Coyotes. I just bought 6 tickets. I have no clue how many I’ll use or give away but I would love to see this as an annual event.

I'm guessing that is where the BB season ticket holders are going? Still lots of great seats available. I wonder if there will be a pre-game fan/alumni event? Should be fun.

The ones behind a home bench are very likely for the parents and families, as we had to reserve ours early. They probably will put boosters there as well. When we are on the road, we are usually right behind our team’s bench.

Like a 16x19 block of seats. over 300. I'm pretty sure that BB season tickets include this game, so maybe that is where they put them? Or maybe a corporate entity bought that section. Interesting, anyway. TICKETMASTER SEATING LINKalso, call the pentagon directly instead of Ticketmaster.... also, one ticket gets you into the double-header. 3:30 and 6:00

The USD "section" is sold out but there are plenty of seats still available.

Going away from the seating for a second, but echoing a couple others. USD needs to be promoting this game heavily, the Sanford pentagon should be promoting this game heavily. A lot of big names have played at the arena but it’s rare to have a consistent top 5 team playing an in state team. This is, and this might be the red colored goggles, a winnable game for the yotes. The last two matchups we’ve only lost by 10 or so to the top team in the country. No team from the summit is ever supposed to even challenge the big kids. You pack that place with coyote fans and energy and that turns into an even match in my opinion.

I agree on the South Carolina game at the Pentagon being a must see, but that whole week is filled with must see home Coyote games:
Nov 9, Tuesday - WBB hosts Oklahoma Nov 11, Thursday - MBB hosts Air Force in a Veteran's Day game at 1:30 PM at the Pentagon VB hosts Denver at 6 PM Nov 12, Friday - WBB hosts South Carolina at the Pentagon Nov 13, Saturday - FB hosts SDSU Nov 14, Sunday - VB hosts Omaha
SD high school football championships are also in the Dome on Nov 11 - 13. Get your calendar blocked off and join the fun.

That's when you find out if you are a "basketball" school or a "football" school, because very few fans can do it all. (God bless those that can)

(God bless those that can) I mean, on any other game week you're statement might be true. But that's the state game. Hard to compare that with even some high powered and intriguing out of conference basketball matchups. There will be a ton of people at the Pentagon on Friday night, but that's not going to take away from the craziness at the dome on Saturday. It's more of an event than just a game. A bunch of casual fans get together with their friends from the other school and all hangout together in the parking lot - kinda makes me want to puke seeing a bunch of idiots in blue sweaters fraternizing in our tailgate.

Yeah. I agree with that. I'd also say that we are still a "football school" at our core. One that happens to also be really good at WBB and VB. That week of 6 important games in our "big four" sports (split between SF and Vermillion) is concerning, though. I'm sure some of those events will be negatively effected, attendance-wise. But you are right that the SDSU football game is the least likely to be hurt. The MBB game might be hit the hardest.
