How much fun is this season going to be? It has a chance to be memory maker. Both the Coyotes and Jack’s duking it out for supremacy. The two young ladies above plus Liv and a group of other talented players….holy smokes.
We need to get 1500-2000 fans every game plus fill it out for SDSU. Oklahoma in Vermillion on November 9th. Battle of the South’s on November 12th in Sioux Falls. South Dakota vs #1 South Carolina. Holyyyy cow. Did you ever think you’d see the day where the Coyotes would host ( semi anyway ) the top team in the land? Coached by the Olympic coach?
Dawn is taking this team right inside the boxing ring and looking for a fight right out of the shoot. This team can do it. Many people think Coach P is nuts. I think it’s brilliant. This is our chance to jump in the talk nation wide as a team to be dealt with. Great stuff.

This could be the year we get a really favorable Tourney seed (and hopefully not an under-seeded team as an opponent, ...Oregon says hello) that could lead to not only our first NCAA tourney win, but possibly a second.
Hopefully Myah will have an injury-free season, as well. I want to beat the Jacks as much as anyone, but not without their best player. Plus Myah is a great person, and a SD kid. I'll forgive her poor choice of colors.

Character counts I went to the other fair and balanced news source to find out Selland's status - the SDSU fanboard. A couple posters there think she is practicing, but not cleared for contact yet. Hopefully that means she is on the path to be ready to play. Not only is it fun to have both teams at full strength, it can help if SDSU picks up a couple key non-conference wins.
Speaking of health - any word on Watson and Hempe? Are they at 100%?

This tweet from a week ago showed Watson practicing and this one from the end of September had Watson practicing and Hempe looking like she was helping but not practicing, in street clothes. (in the same frame as Liv) |
