Saturday, Dec 4 @ 1PM - SCSC Vermillion Looks like the next three home games are against average-to-good midwest mid-majors. We should be favored in all three. We have a lot of recent history against the Shockers. These should be a good warmup for the non-conference finale at Creighton. Wichita State was picked #8 of 11 AAC teams in the preseason. Asia Strong, a 6-2 Senior Forward was selected preseason all-conference. Maybe the crazies can come up with a “gluten-free” sign (it rhymes with SCSC….). That damn gluten-free stuffing still makes me angry….

Watched a little of the ORU-WSU game from Wednesday. The shockers like to muscle into the paint, and score better that way then from the outside.
I think that is a huge mismatch with our team. We are pretty damn good at walling off the paint.

Wichita State is gonna be Shocked to have to leave Vermillion with a loss. If they don't play better that is exactly what will happen. Gotta laugh a little but Wichita needs to get more athletic. Ha ha.
Coyotes up 21-8. Playing tough competition is going to help the Yotes today.

So far the Coyotes are playing with nice energy. I do have to say that the SCSC is pleasant to the eye on tv especially in HD.

Hannah is eating up Wichita for lunch. They have zero answer for her. If the Shockers are indeed bread slices they have made some nice sandwiches for the Coyotes to munch on.

What a game for Sjerven! Feels good to get back in the win column. Good game plan, assuming the game plan was for Sjerven to single handedly put all the opponents starters in foul trouble…

Wichita was very athletic; they just need to get some better basketball players. They did figure out how to slow down Sjerven in the second half though...elbow her in the face enough times until you can draw blood and get her off the floor. I was surprised at the big rebound differential in their favor that I'm sure that will be addressed. At some point, I hope our three-point shooting improves too.
