Article LINKfrom article: THE ROOS
Kansas City (10-2, 0-1) had its program record 10-game winning streak snapped by South Dakota State on Monday night. The Roos kept the game within single digits and closed SDSU's lead down to two, 70-68, in the fourth quarter before falling 85-78. Kansas City owns the league's largest scoring margin this season, outscoring foes by 16.8 points per game, with the league's second-best scoring offense and defense. Naomie Alnatas and Brooklyn McDavid are the league's leading and third-leading scorers with 18.7 and 16.9 points per game, respectively. Alnatas was picked to the Summit preseason first team, while McDavid is a graduate transfer from Pacific.

KC has one of the worst home court advantages in the league. The Coyotes tend to play well on the road in summit league road stale environments. I think a 15 pt win is about right. That will be considered an off game for the Yotes. If the Yotes are on their game 25 or more margin would be about right.

Bonus prediction: our freshmen will play really well in this venue, since it’s basically a high school gym.

All joking aside, KC is obviously an improved team that could knock off the Yotes on a good night. I didn't see the Jacks game, but statistically they played very well, and yet were still in a close contest. This should be a good test.

I'll say Yotes win 70-65 (real prediction this time). KC put up 78 points on the Jacks, and KC also doesn't try to play as fast (less possessions) as ORU. I'll predict our shooting cools off just a little, as well.

20-7 after 1Q! KC struggling to find the bucket. They have had open looks, just pushing too hard, or flustered by the D.

Roos came back to tie it at the half 31-31...
Sjerven with just three minutes in the game.
I'm just listening to the game now, so don't know the details of how KC adjusted to have such a great turnaround. Let's hope Coach P has something to counter in the 3rd.
