Saturday, 1/1/22 @1:00 PM
1/1 at 1:00? easy to remember. If people are not too busy being hung over or watching football.... This should be a good one.
Predictions: Yotes win 69-55 (-14) Massey Yotes win 68-53 (-15) Warren Nolan Yotes win 71-49 (-22) ELO
so far ELO has come the closest in every Summit game, so I see no reason to thing differently here. Maybe Coach Collins will come up with a good game plan, and maybe the Bison will get hot from the arc, but I'd still bet on a Yote win by at least 10.

34-18 at the half! Huge 2nd quarter for the Yotes, especially on defense.
Lamb with 22 points!

The Bigs are all getting hammered inside, and the calling is very inconsistent. Bigs on both teams are in foul trouble. I wish the refs would just call it like they would a men’s game.

46-24 after 3Q! Wow. Can the Bison get to the 35 points Briar Cliff scored in this gym?

It is simply just not fair for the North Dakota schools to have to play the coyotes. They just simply don't match up with us. There's really not much more to say other than it was Total domination for the last two games.

Didn't connect from the floor once and had as many turnovers as points. Now that's containment! Peplowski played more minutes than Sjerven and did a nice job when she was in. That's really good to see.

Some amatuer analysis, this was a defensive clinic. The offense was struggling, partly because the refs refused to call the obvious displacements and flat out assaults. But if one watched this from the defensive side of the ball, you couldn't help but be impressed with the Coyotes today. The way they rotate, cut off drivers, cover shooters in emergency situations are some of the best defensive principles I've seen in a long time. This team is so good defensively. They can weather bad offensive days simply because they lock down.
Couple thoughts on individual performances. Chloe doing Chloe things. I mean, she was outscoring NDSU by herself INTO THE 4TH QUARTER. Kyah does so many little things that are athletic AF, sorry for the psuedo swears, but it's true. She grabbed a rebound off balance in a way not many could. Pep played great. It's fun seeing kids like her get opportunities in big moments. She was thrown in early and defended and rebounded well. Then her up and unders were textbook. She could play some critical moments down the stretch.
On to the next one, which is always a fun one. Let's go show those silly rabbits who still reigns supreme in the SL.

The Jacks and Yotes have now had five common opponents, with the Yotes having better results in all of them. It would be foolish to underestimate them, but I do like our chances, especially at home.
