When assistant coaches leave for promotions, that generally reflects well on the program, I think. I'm sure that's what the Jacks are saying about their own recent defections, anyway.

The Coyotes special teams in 2021 were as good as I remember them for many years. That is obviously credit to Aurich. Good programs overcome these things and since the Coyotes are now good again they will overcome this as well.

Excellent Coach and an even better person, but if there's one thing I know, a special teams coordinator is easy to replace and like many programs I am sure their coaching staff as a whole coached the different phases of special teams so it wasn't just one coach involved in the positive jump in special teams play. Good players make coaches look good. Good for Coach Aurich getting the opportunity to be a coordinator!
