I checked and there is flagrant 2 foul in WBB. Is excessive force above shoulders. Given that NDSU player IMHO should have been ejected for the hit to Hannah's face that snapped her head back, it was intentional and the ball had left the area of the 2 players. I agree- if there was ever a play to be ejected on that was it. Very odd move in fighting through a screen to swipe at someone's face/throat not once but twice. it appeared very deliberate. from what they showed on the broadcast, the first technical was bizarre unless I missed something. Awesome third quarter by the Yotes in this one in a really physical game. Larkins had some great drives to the hoop, krull looked good running the offense, and solid bench minutes from Pep. Great team win. Side note- is Chloe the front runner for conference POY? I think she has my irrelevant vote. |

Shot something like 80%, including some 25 footers with a hand in their face. You don't want to see it happen against your team, but it was really something to watch. |

UND was at full strength, unlike the last time we played them. As mentioned above, UND shot lights out in the 2nd quarter. A lot of their points in the 2nd quarter came with Hannah on the bench as Coach was waiting for a media timeout to put her back in the game, which didn't come until only about 2 minutes were left in the half.
UND is a much improved team and I kind of expected, based on the law of averages, them to shoot well today after struggling so much against the Bunnies.
