That ole miss press conference leading up to the game turned out to be all hat no cattle as they say. The big girl was not impressive at all and spent most of the game moping as did their team in general. From early on it looked like they didn’t want to compete. They knew they were beat from mid first quarter it appeared. They tried hard to rough up Hannah but she kept her poise. If these team played 10 times we probably win 8 of them. Reality is we are just better than that team. Can’t wait to see the postgame presser. Congrats to the Lady Yotes. What a great win for the players, coaches, and program!!!

Quick note: I hope everyone appreciates the contributions of Allison Peplowski today. Sometimes performances like that can fall through the cracks. Way to step up to the plate and contribute extremely valuable minutes when it was really important. The 'Yotes didn't miss a beat when Sjerven rested. You are right on about that. Her emergence in the second half of the season has bolstered my confidence for the post-Hannah future. |

I have to think Shakira Austin's draft stock took a hit today. She certainly didn't look like a WNBA lottery pick. ...or maybe Hannah Sjerven's took a big leap. |

The yotes played a solid game today to mute the SEC bravado from pregame information. Sjerven showed she can take a punch and keep on ticking. Rebels had a mark on her all game.
