I will be in Rapid City for my daughter's state gymnastics meet (will be watching from the hotel), but for those of you making the trek down to Wichita I salute you. Here's a handful of road songs for your listening enjoyment. Anyone please feel free to add your own: Is there a watch party out there anywhere that you know of? My wife and I will be there for state gymnastics also. Rod A bad day as a Coyote is ALWAYS better than a good day as a Jack.

I don't know where we will end up watching it, but I'll send you a PM when we know more. Maybe we could meet up. The meet is at the school of mines, and I think my daughter wanted to eat supper at the Firehouse downtown for supper. We (and the team) are staying at the AmericInn up by the LaCrosse Street Interstate exit. We might be coordinating with my other extended family and the team, too. So no guarantees, but shoot me a PM. I'd love to watch it with other Coyote fans.

I only know how to do it (embed the video) from a desktop. There's a button with a director's clapper-board icon, then you paste the URL in there. You can toggle between mobile and desktop versions of this site with a tiny link in the bottom of the page... But just posting the link to Youtube works fine, too! Great song!

Oh man that is PERFECT! I watched the pregame pressor before the game. I got the feeling they didn't watch 1 second of film on the Yotes. Never underestimate your opponents. Maybe "coach Yo" just learned that lesson! Oh, and coach Yo.. #22 is Chole Lamb. That's her name.

How about the Yotes "Stayin' Alive" in the tournament? Every time I hear a Bee Gee's song I just want to plunge knitting needles into my ears.

This is fun, isn't it? This is why we watch sports, support the team, etc. For times like this. I feel like when our team won the WNIT in 2016. Regargless of the outcome with Michigan, I think the program has already won something. The national media forgets about us in-between, but right now we suddenly have (most) everyone's attention.

You can't have a list like this without Dakota by Stereophonics (who is one of my favorite bands).
Fun fact: They originally wanted to call it "Vermillion", but someone else had a song out at that time with that name, so they went with "Dakota". Apparently they played USD back in the day, and finished this song on the tour bus. (Wasn't there - I assume it was the DakotaDome?)
