Watson no longer listed on roster. :-( Well that's not the news I wanted to hear. No surprise at this point, though.

Hopefully this means Kyah is going and Maddie has decided to stay based upon the updated roster. One out of two would be better than zero! Kyah is one of my favorite players and I hate to see the "Selland Stopper" go, but I wish her nothing but the best and this past season I thoroughly enjoyed watching her defensive ability and effort game in and out. She truly was a game changer on defense and her ability to hit the key three will be missed greatly. I'll still cheer her on wherever she lands...unless of course that team is playing the Yotes!

Assuming Kyah is leaving, Coach P is her mother figure. She doesn't want to lose her mother. My observations is she is very emotional.

Let’s not get too deep in speculative psychoanalysis. What we DO know based on comments from Coach P is that Kyah has always had untapped potential that she was only starting to see as her coaches and teammates have encouraged her to be more aggressive and attacking on offense. I’ll be sad to not see her full potential in Coyote red, but I’ll probably follow her playing anyway. No sour grapes from me. Just because she might have strong attachments to her coaches doesn’t mean it is automatically related to her loss of her mom. And even if that’s the case, that’s her business, not mine.
