At the end of the video, it says that she is 6’3. So I’m guessing she is about the same as Hannah - different measurements depending on who you ask.

Signed sealed delivered
“…During the 2021-22 season, she was the only player to start and appear in all 31 games while averaging 10.6 points. She knocked down a team-best 39.2 percent from behind the arc, including an impressive single-game performance of 6-of-7 threes…”

Wasn’t sure where to put this so it landed here. I don’t think we ever offered or the blue school to the north. I gotta think she wants to come back home to play, but I could be wrong. Any thoughts??

Seems like an odd time to announce for basketball. Looks like she was redshirting. Maybe not happy with sitting out? I don’t know any details about the situation, but she certainly is talented. No question there. Would be a big get for someone….

There's a reason she wasn't recruited by either in-state D-I and is now leaving Kansas in the middle of the season.

Do players that transfer mid-season get to play right away or do they have to wait until the next season?
Can’t deny that if we were talking to her that it wouldn’t be horrible to have an extra body out there considering the amount of injuries we have had. But if I were the coaching staff id be trying to look for players with experience on the floor, which we don’t have at the moment.

There seems to be more and more players transferring early. The advantage is that you can enroll in school that your transferring to and practice for the entire semester. The only way you could be eligible is if you can prove some kind of hardship or abuse at your current school. It surely does not seem to be the case here. More than likely the realization that this level is too high for her to compete. Only guessing

Swedlund to Toledo. Looks like the distance or homesickness wasn’t the reason for the transfer.

I feel like there's a good reason the SD schools aren't after her.

Smallish high school gunners often have a big adjustment to make to college life on the floor. They better be able to really bring it on the defensive end (McKeever comes to mind for me) and also come to grips with the fact that they aren't getting 20 (or even 10) shots a night. Often that can be hard for a kid and/or parents to accept.
