Part of the reason the Yotes were off schedule was due to Bob's suspect play calling. One series for example. First down plunge into the line, second down plunge into the line, third down low percentage completion for first down. Repeat the same 3 plays. Then repeat the same 3 plays yet again, but this time an incompletion on third down and a punt. A little more creativity please Bob. In watching the NDSU-AU game its clear NDSU has a bigger playbook then we do.

Bob was critical of some of his calls and said he was a little rusty. But he also said the dedication to the run game did set up some of the bigger plays in the pass game as the safeties crept closer to the line and opened things up. I think we’ve all gotten frustrated with play calling before when we would fall in live with the pass. Hard to have it both ways. OL has to be able to open some holes.

If we neutralize ( not necessarily win ) both lines of scrimmage, we have a great opportunity to get the W. Our guys have to be laser focused for 60 minutes. Anything less than that and I don’t think it will happen.
Huge opportunity Saturday.
