Only matches with USF are televised, so the USD one is at noon on Saturday...
Lots of accolades already...

Yotes win 3-1! last set was 25-19, finished on a 3-0 scoring run after a timeout. This team is always clutch.
Yotes out-hit them .291 to .147, out blocked 13 to 5, Aces 7 to 4

I "watched" the match via LiveStats. Went as expected. There were times when the yotes were really rolling. Then some times where they lost concentration abit (3rd set). !st set was impressive. My guess is Stetson hadnt seen a team like the Yotes yet this year. Blocking numbers should stay up for the next 2 matches.....truely a block party . I see attendance was listed at 45......isnt the SCSC grand !

Do we know what kind of injury Sealock is dealing with? same as last season? No complaints from me about Deiderich, though. Just surprised at her vertical ability with her height. Similar as an undersized hitter to SDSU's Crystal Burk. Good serving and back-row play, too.

The word i got during the Louisville match was a toe injury. Deiderich is making me eat my words alot this year. Everytime she gets one blocked, i mumble about height.....then she proves me wrong with a kill. If you watched the stats live today, you would have noticed a stretch when she wasnt getting back into the match and her hitting % was negative. then she comes back and gets about 4 more kills. Its good not only for her but for others on the team to see determination like that.

Yotes swept the host, USF Bulls, and have now completed their tough non-conference schedule 11-1!
Wow.
This group is special. This is one of those “at-large” seasons. Or possibly a decent seed.
Big opening weekend for conference play ahead, hosting the other two top-tier teams, Omaha and Denver, at the SCSC.
Don’t miss it
