According to Mick Garry's twitter, USD reserves Stacia Robertson and Katie Edwards are both transferring. Robertson's family moved to North Carolina and she wants to be close to them and Edwards wants more minutes.
These are two big losses I think that really holds USD back this upcoming season. I saw Robertson as a future star, and even though Edwards came off the bench, she really contributed key minutes down the stretch. Ouch.

where is Katelyn Edwards going to end up? Somewhere closer to home in Nebraska?

Well if she wants to be closer to home, she is from Grand Island, Neb., I would say the two most logical fits for here would be UNO and Nebraska-Kearney. UNO needs some more D-I talent and Edwards showed this year that she can play at this level. I honestly would not be surprised if she went to UNO since they are making the move. Who knows, maybe that was the difference for her? If not UNO, UNK is close to Grand Island.

Katelyn Edwards is from Crete, Neb., home of Doane College. Bet the GPAC school got excited to see she was a free agent.

Whoops, got it mixed up from the website. Yeah, I am still going to stand my UNO and UNK stuff though. I would be really surprised if she goes to the NAIA, just because i feel she is much too talented for it.

It looks like all three girls that were given scholarships over the girl from Dakota Valley that is doing well at UND have now left the program. One never even played for us. Interesting

You're referring to Allyssa Wall, from Dakota Valley. She had a pretty good freshman year at North Dakota, and is on the fast track to becoming a legit Division I scoring center. Always thought it was a shame that USD didn't make a push for someone essentially in its own backyard.
