Looks like this game will go against the Men's game @ Wisconsin. Free streaming available, though! Will be a first look for some of us at the new-look Yotes. Looks like Midland is NAIA in the GPAC conference. They were 4-18 in conference play last year (#11). They were again picked to finish 11th this year. The competition will ratchet up on Thursday, with a ranked Creighton squad coming to Vermillion.

I usually hate these games. Probably a good thing to start with one this year though.

Do I understand this right, that it will be streamed on GoYotes.com as well as Midco Sports+? If so, is there any reason to keep my Midco subscription?

MidcoSportsPlus has aps for most streaming devices, such as Roku(which I use), etc., which makes it easier to watch on TV.

Higher production value. I'm glad the free stream exists, but it leaves something to be desired.

I could be wrong but you are also getting beyond the paywalls for SDSU and UND. If it were for all Summit teams that would be way worth it. Maybe next year on that?

A few observations from Q1 of the season:
1. This team will be able to score the basketball. 2. Grace Larkins is going to be the best player on the floor an awful lot of nights. 3. We will need to get better defensively, but that will come with work. 4. We might lead the league in 3’s attempted and made, we’re not going to be afraid to shoot.
I like what I saw but we’ll get a lot better flavor on Thursday night against real competition. Let’s get out of this one healthy and work on our defensive rotations, footwork, and positioning. We’ll need it all firing on all cylinders to get a win Thursday night!

We need to get Mazurek back in the paint. Playing 5-out at times. Will not work against a team with bigs.

Demers is a physical specimen. Can hit the 3, too. Bright future

When you can score like this, a lot of other things can go wrong, and you are still in it. Our run of best defense in the conference might be in jeopardy, but we might be the best offense. We’ll see.

Not much to complain about in this one. Shot the ball extremely well and spread the scoring around. It's gonna take some getting used to not having Sjerven in there dominating the post. Somebody will need to assert themselves as a defensive force inside.

Larkins and Ugofsky played well defensively. We have a LOT of work to do on that end. I’ll take good defense over great offense any day. We rode that all the way to the sweet 16 last year. If we shoot well we’ll be in the game, if we don’t we can lose to anyone. I think this post will age well as we go throughout the season. Overall a very good effort against a very poor opponent. One at a time! Go Yotes!
