Was anything said about Kutcher? Weird to see walk-ons getting plenty of minutes and nothing for Kutcher who showed good offensive promise last year. Is he injured or just not picking up the new system as quickly? I think it's just Burchill taking his minutes. More size and defense.

...That said, AJ's leg's obviously nowhere near 100 percent and never will be again.... I noticed the announcers didn't mention or focus on AJ grabbing his leg, limping for a brief moment, and going to the bench late in the second half. The camera didn't focus on it, but they had to have seen it. My heart dropped... but then he was back in the game soon after. I'm glad he is able to play on that leg, but I'll probably always be nervous about it, and I'm just a fan watching! Dawn is probably a nervous wreck. The psychological part of those injuries is huge. AJ's apparently got some large steel nuts, cause he was playing with some confidence last night.

There were a couple of moments where it looked like the brace literally kept it from buckling and at least one where he looked down like he knew it. The young man is always going to be a useful player because of his shot, IQ and all-around toughness but that leg did not look good to me. I hope like hell he stays healthy.

AJ's apparently got some large steel nuts, cause he was playing with some confidence last night. That was a cramp in his calf, and it occurred after he had to run to the locker room to apparently throw up (he was holding his hand over his mouth). He was gassed after a particularly frantic stretch on the court. Now it's possible his leg is such where he's more prone to stuff like cramps, but there were no issues with the knee structurally last night. Just being a step slower as MLB said. There was also the time he banged his other knee, and he did come out for a play but went right back in.

You can’t be a liability on defense and play. You have to be able to do more than shoot.
