Terrible D overall by the Lady Yotes!! Seems like 80% of the bizon points were on easy layups or points right under the basket! Sometimes I think bb players forget where the easiest points are in bb and seemed surprised were the O is going to go with the ball!

Tough film to watch but will be helpful for future games!!

The team battled hard but also needs to battle smarter! There will be better days!

Heroic effort by Larkins that was nearly super heroic. That lanky freshman for NDSU is a nice player.

At the 5:35 mark, Guebert drew a charge. Coyotes led 68-61. From that point on, they got two stops. Hamling really hurt them on dribble drives to her strong hand. Some of that was poor defense, but some of it is a credit to Hamling.

Duffney was impressive again when they went to the "small" lineup. If they can hold their own defensively with her ostensibly at the 5, she presents a lot of matchup problems. She ran Behnke off the floor.

Hansen played 6 minutes. It appears that defensive issues are plaguing her again. Hempe only played 17. There was one point where Kayla was talking to both players on the bench, likely about defensive responsibilities. Hempe's lack of quickness is an issue defensively, but I really thought she needed to be on the floor to end the game. Kayla went with Larkins-Guebert-NAA-Carson-Duffney the last few minutes. Carson has length defensively but is still tentative at the other end. I think they needed Hempe's offensive versatility.

It was a good game, and NDSU is pretty good. But they kind of let that one get away. Jacks are really rolling so Saturday might get pretty ugly.

Thanks. Kayla takes so long in the locker room and in her presser that by the time she gets to Carter we are out of range for 101.5/1570 as we travel home!

I also now recall that when Hansen left the floor the first time she was removed, she ran back into the locker room right away.

It's just much more convenient to listen in the car. Kayla just takes so much longer than Dawn did. Poor Carter Woodiel has had to stretch after every game. Once he even resorted to going into detail on the SDSU boxscore. 🤣
