New roster has been posted on goyotes website. Some interesting finds: no offensive line or wide receivers coach listed and there are some new additions (transfers) listed at the very bottom that should raise some eyebrows if you do your research on them.

I see some large defensive lineman, a tall WR, and a LB appropriately named Cannon. Do some of them have “baggage” or something?

The 6-6 WR is from Iowa State and one of the DL is from the Huskers.

The linebacker has been a starter at Ohio University and has 116 tackles and a sack. Was considered to be their top returner before entering the portal.

My guess is it was more a case of not enough playing time. Highlights look good.
I assume since they and two of the freshman are listed is they're already enrolled and on campus which would be great?!

The more transfers the merrier as far as I'm concerned. Give me the dudes that it takes to win games. Baggage or not, I'd rather have wins than academic all Americans at this point. Excited to see some bigger bodies on the roster.

Maybe some are conflating “raise some eyebrows” (a good thing) with “raise red flags”? (A bad thing)? IDK, just a guess. I’m no expert, but these look like difference-making additions to me. Good stuff!

I like seeing the added DL. Wish the backer was a Rush since our Mike and Will are both all-conference. 6'6" WR could really cause some mismatches which will help our O. Excited for the season.

This might just be the way it is in FCS going forward with the transfer portal world we live in, until some regulations are put in place. Take a look at what has happened to NDSU this off season, the Bison have been hit really hard. Constant turnover replaced by youth. |

I'm a little surprised to see Keyondray Jones listed on the spring roster. He must have enrolled early as well. I'm not sure that I've seen anyone do that out of high school other than QBs.
