I look forward to the season but darn that is another season with an extremely young roster which seems to be a constant over the last 6 years of recruiting cycles. This might just be the way it is in FCS going forward with the transfer portal world we live in, until some regulations are put in place. Take a look at what has happened to NDSU this off season, the Bison have been hit really hard. Constant turnover replaced by youth. Lots of 4th, 5th and some 6th year guys on the roster due to the covid year. They are not as young as you might think. |

Maybe every program has to some extent. Go look at SDSU and NDSU rosters. Heck. go look at our past rosters. We don not have the Juniors let alone Seniors that those teams have. I am excited and look forward to season. Our guys will compete hard |

How do we feel about QB position. Karst Hunter a SD kid who first went to SDSU, than spent last 2 years at Colorado Mesa is in the portal. Big strong athletic looking kid. If Coach Davis wants a mobile QB he might an option. We are think at QB, at least ones with experience. Not starting a rumor, just thought of it other day when I came across him on twitter about being in the portal.

Good question. Aidan Bouman was looking good at the end of last season considering the circumstances, but he is pretty different from who we’ve been targeting since bringing in Josh Davis. I’m sure we can make him work, but I’m all for brining in competition. We haven’t seen Cergio Perez and I’m pretty sure Clougherty is a walk-on. Cole Stentstrom might have actually been a good fit had a stick around.
