We're to the "just pretending this one didn't happen" stage of the season and moving right on to State on Saturday it seems.

I think after the OT loss in Fargo I just kinda assumed we’d lose in Grand Forks. Not because UND is that much better but because that was our first OT game and I think at this point the team might be showing it’s fatigue. We get a week off thankfully for SDSU to get some rest in.
Realistically we’re looking at 4-7 for seeding which at that point it just depends on if you wanna face SDSU or not in the second round. We just need to play conservatively these last games to mitigate injuries and fatigue and I think we can still make a lil noise in the tourney.

Everybody thinking 3-2 as best-case scenario to close the season or we got some 4-1 or even 5-0 votes?

With Duffney and Larkins missed minutes with foul trouble we don't have the depth to replace them . I thought Carson and Demers 2 freshman played well

4-1 is still possible, but 3-2 or 2-3 more likely. Yotes are capable of winning 4 but unlikely to play with the consistency necessary to do it.

Well, if it's 5-0 then we have ourselves a couple of major stories. 😀 It probably has to be 4-1 in order to get 3rd, or at least to have a good chance. But like yotenation said, it's tough to think they can do that. They are looking at the 4-5 matchup with UND or ORU in all likelihood. Those two losses to the bottom three teams really hurt.

I would say 2-6 in the conference is up to the teams in the present position in these positions standing in the conference. I believe looking at the conference schedule for you guys to have any chance of getting second you need to go 5-0 and hope for NDSU and ORU going worse than 4-2 which I think highly unlikely. NDSU I think will only need to go 4-2 to capture two seed and they have ORU at home. Und I believe best chance is for third and I believe they can accomplish this by going 5-1 down the stretch. They have ORU at home and if they could sweep this weekend they would be well on their way to getting to that record. If they fail this week then we’re looking at probably 5 or 6 seed. USD, you guys schedule is difficult with SDSU and ORU are on the road and you still have Omaha and Denver two teams at home but fighting for position in the conference. My guess is you go 3-2 but I could see even going 2-3 but either record probably puts you at either four or five. ORU has difficult schedule in having SDSU, NDSU, USD, and Und but my guess is the they go 3-3 but if go 4-2 so they could end up from two to four. Omaha being in six place now I don’t think they can go any higher than fourth. This is going to be interesting finish for the conference but we will know a lot more after this weekend.

But adversity is supposed to lead to growth so let’s hope it does.
