Well, it's all settled. Both Yote teams will play on Sunday. For the women, we will play ORU in the 4 vs 5 game, as we thought might be the case for a while. This matches our 2017 seed in Dawn's first year. In that tournament we lost to Omaha in the first round, but then went on to play in the WNIT. This year we are one game under 500, so postseason play is likely not in the cards.
If we lose our season is over. If we win, we will (most likely) get to play the Jacks in a Monday afternoon semifinal. Honestly, with how this season has gone I think making it to the semifinals would be a nice achievement to go into the offseason with, regardless of how the semifinal goes.
Predictions:
Yotes win 77-69 (-8) Massey
(nothing yet for Warren Nolan)
Let's make sure there is plenty of red in the Denny!

Based on previous performances against ORU this game has me cautiously optimistic. We’re all 0-0 in the tourney though so it really is going to come down to who has pushed out the regular season and came locked in.
Interestingly the last time we were in a similar position in regards to SDSU was 2014? Where we upset SDSU in the 2nd round as a 4 to go on to win our first title. Come tourney time anything is possible.

Props to ORU’s coaching staff they have them playing to win. We aren’t playing to win we’re playing not to lose.
