Red Cloud plays six man football so he's is a very interesting recruit. I wonder if we've ever had a player from six man before? There have been a lot of outstanding players coming from small town Nebraska. Tom Osbourne made a career with some of these players. |

Pretty sure Red Cloud didn't play six man back then as it really didn't start up in Nebraska until the Fall of 2009. Wasn't even sanctioned by the NSAA for a few years but it grew in popularity, largely because smaller schools could now field their own teams instead of cooping with a bigger school. I think the enrollment has to be 27 boys or less to be able to play six man ball. interesting small town fact: Carter Nelson, the #1 rated recruit in Nebraska is from Ainsworth who plays in class D2, the smallest eight man class. He's a Husker commit and had offers from all over the country. His final four schools were Nebraska, Penn State, Notre Dame and Georgia. Just goes to show that good players can come from anywhere and in this day and age they will be found.
