Murray State's nickname is the Racers and they have a pretty cool team entrance

Looking like a cold morning tomorrow. Dress warm for the parade and tailgate Yote fans.

I like our chances of running the ball and eating clock. We’re looking good so far!

Good 1st half. Sleepwalking in the third quarter. Hopefully we can pick it back up.
We're lucky to be playing an inferior opponent. We have not been at our best today. Stupid pre snap penalties. Busted defensive assignments

The Yotes are 4-1… that feels good! Need to keep it up. This is a decent team this year. At this point they just can't lose games they shouldn't. That's probably all but 2 remaining games. That being said, we aren't good enough to win with a middling effort against most of the valley. We'll have to bring it every week. On another note.. how good do our running backs look?

A Happy D-Days to all!
4-1 does feel great. Also, in years past we've always yearned for more depth at key positions. I believe we are starting to see that manifested. Last week it was hardly noticed that we played without Gaes on the DL. This week, we see some WRs step up, besides Bell and Martens. That RB room, wow!
One at a time, the YSU game is huge.

Happy DDAYS Coyote fans! Good atmosphere in the dome today. I was able to bring a few extra that don't normally make it to Verm and they had a good time. Really impressed with the tailgate experience, it seems like they have found a good recipe for mixing students and fans. By my estimation, there were probably 20,000 people tailgating today. More than any game I can remember not versus the bison or bunnies. Of those, maybe half made it in to the dome. To each their own, but my group had a great time inside. After a quick power nap, I'm taking the better half out for supper then to Leo's. God Bless South Dakota.

First, the atmosphere outside the Dome today was incredible. I know, go into the game, but there are a lot of people coming back to town, telling stories, catching up on old times, I get it. It was a great atmosphere.
Second, all I needed to see was the Yotes imposing their will and running the ball down their throat for a TD in the 4th. That's how you close a game. That was sending a message to the conference.
Happy D-Days!

Offense got rolling and defense stood their ground the entire game. Don’t look now, but unranked Youngstown just put the hurt on no. 5 SIU. Penguins at home next week. Put your armor on. Classic MVFC battle upcoming.

Basically, a very workman like win, but any win is a great win in this conference. It's just so nice to be able to impose your will with the running game on the opposition, especially in the fourth quarter. Little concerned how we came out flat after halftime. Game was far from over as witnessed by Murray threatening to make it a one score game. Defense came through again though and that seemed to get everyone going. That Murray receiver really took hits from the dbs. Watching the replay it's easy to see why he fumbled. Anyone hear anything about Nate Thomas? He was dressed and on the sidelines. Pierre really proved himself to be a very dynamic runner today and Theis is just Theis. We're sure not hurting in the running back department. Onward and upward...next Saturday should be fun. Fill the Dome!

Thomas tweaked his ankle in Fargo. Could’ve gone yesterday if needed but an extra week of therapy and such would be best. The running back room delivered. Nate should be 100% this week against an extremely physical Youngstown State team.

#3 played pretty well, but did make a few mental mistakes and Bouman was visibly upset with him. He went to the wrong side on a couple handoffs or RPO’s and busted the plays. But 21 & 3 did a decent job today filling in for Thomas and Mansaray.
