Coyotes next game up is at 0-6 Indiana State noon central on Saturday on espn+.
If there ever was a trap game this would be it! So focus, focus, focus! The Sycamores just got pummeled by Illinois State 44-7. They had 95 rushing vs 244 and 73 passing to ISU's 172. ISU had 2-1 turnovers.
So Yotes need to take care of business!!

I do believe a win would equal our best winning streak at the D1 level (started 2017 6-0).

I'm gonna bump this to the top. Focus needs to be on winning this week, not the circus surrounding the state game. We haven't earned the right to look past anyone at this point.
We should be big time favorites this week, but this is a textbook trap game. I'd like to see a heavy dose of the run game. Sustain drives, score, and make it a short game. Defense, keep doing what you're doing (like the first half against YSU, let's forget the big plays in the 3rd).

Agreed that is the case for the football staff and players. I'm sure the direction from coaches is to be focused on Indiana St.
But for the university and city, if there is a real possibility for GameDay to come, that has to be the focus for them. If this were to occur, we are probably talking about an event that would bring more people into Vermillion than at any point in history (await incoming reply from Vermillion historians).
And for fans who waste time posting to message boards (raises hand), it's really fun to think about getting to experience something we would never forget. As said in the other thread, I heard it first on D-Days morning. The source was a player's parent. So this has been around the locker room for at least a couple weeks.

Let’s focus on this game. Huge stakes. No time for a let down. Hopefully have a nice day without a lot of wind / rain.
A win at ISUb would set us up nicely.
Anyone going to the game? I am

Probably right, but I don't know what to compare it to. Move-in Day, D-Days, Graduation and any Football game vs SDSU probably bring the most people into Vermillion every year. Other than that, I would have no idea. The Jacks claim to have had 13,000 at the previous GameDay. 2nd most for an FCS location to JMU's 14,000.

I think it would be fun to go to the game, and really any road game. Have only been to 6 of the MVFC stadiums (including USD). Money and time aren't exactly bountiful with the family life right now. Maybe 20 years from now I can surprise my wife with a weekend getaway to Terre Haute.

10/28 shouldn’t even be on our radar right now. Just go handle business and come home. One week at a time.

Been through the middle of Illinois right across the border and felt right in the heart of the rust belt.

D-Days tailgating around the Dome this year, I think there was a legit 20,000 people out there partying. I'd love to see an official crowd estimate on that though, that number was from my own observation, but I had plenty of people who were there agree with that assessment. There were people all over the place. Not even half went into the game, there were tailgates still going throughout the game, and a bunch of people that hit the bars and house parties during the game. If things go right this coming Saturday and a certain travelling circus rolls into town, I think it shatters everything.
