Glass half full view is that we have progressed from a program that struggles with bad losses on the road to a team that struggles with bad double-digit wins on the road. I will take it a bit further. 6-0 vs. FCS, and 4-0 in MVFC, and we have yet to trail in any of those games. You are both correct. All of this is progress, and we are all hungry for more. |

It does sort of feel good to be oddly dissatisfied with a double digit road win. I would bet money that any of us would have gladly taken it at the beginning of the season. |

Was it a pretty win? No. But considering the last two times we played here we lost in overtime and 3OT, I’ll gladly take this progress. It’s these type of wins that help you build momentum and even just build confidence as a team.

Seems like late season desperation today for a lot of teams whose season is teetering. Or maybe they’re bad but it’s homecoming. Lots of close games and upsets. Indy st had homecoming today. Surely that was a factor. Had to bus from Indianapolis in morning for a noon kickoff. Had a former player in a group chat say that trip is tough.
A win is a win on the road.
